The Parish Council

The Parish Council is made up of seven councillors members who represent the parish on various matters.  We are effectively the third tier of local government, the other two being Norfolk County Council and Breckland Council.

Litter Picking Event

The Garvestone, Reymerston & Thuxton Parish Council is pleased to announce a community litter picking event scheduled for Saturday, 10th February. Residents are invited to join us at 9:00 AM outside the Garvestone & Thuxton Village Hall. In a collective effort to maintain the cleanliness of our community, the Parish Council will be providing bin bags and litter-picking tools. This event not only contributes to the aesthetic appeal of the parish but also promotes a sense of community responsibility. By participating, you will be actively engaging in preserving the beauty of our surroundings.

For further information or to take part in the event, please contact Councillor Graham Smith on 07463176705 or at grhamsmith@gmail.com.
