The Parish Council's financial year runs from 1st April to 31st March. The Parish Council levies an annual precept charge, which is collected by the District Council. The precept helps run the services provided by the Parish Council. The precept for 2024/25 is £12,027.

Grants 
​

In May 2019 the Parish Council received a grant of £7,900 from the National Lottery Heritage Fund for a Garvestone, Reymerston and Thuxton Remembrance Trail. information about the project can be found here.

In 2022/23 the Parish Council gave the following grants:

St Margaret's Church, Garvestone for churchyard upkeep: £350
