Reporting problems

The quickest and simplest way to get your problem resolved is to report it directly to the correct authority.

Highways problems (potholes, broken signs, road flooding, missing footpath signs etc) should be reported to Norfolk County Council Highways. See more information here.

If Highways have failed to deal with your problem after six weeks, this problem can be raised with the clerk who will liaise with Cllr Connolly or Highways as appropriate. If raising an issue with the clerk, please give full details (location, description of problem, map if necessary, job numbers of the reports to Highways with dates and any responses from them).

Requests for improvements to highways should be brought to the Parish Council, either by raising the request at a meeting or by contacting the clerk or a councillor. The Parish Council will then decide whether to pass these requests for improvements to Highways.

Problems with dogs (out of control dogs, dog fouling, excessive dog noise) should be reported to the Dog Warden at Breckland Council. See more information here.

Problems with dangerous parking or cars on pavements should be reported to the police on 101.
