REPORTING PROBLEMS WITH DOGS
All dogs must be kept under control on public rights of way. Please ensure your dog is under control at all times and is not causing alarm or nuisance to other people.

If you have problems with out of control dogs, you can report these to the Breckland Council Dog Warden.

There is a link to the Dog Warden Service on Breckland Council's website here.

The Dog Warden will need to know full details such as dates, location, description of the dog(s), name and address of the dog owners if know and so on. The Dog Warden may not be able to take any action over isolated incidents but if there is an ongoing problem, action may be taken.

The Parish Council is in communication with the Dog Warden to try to resolve these problems. If you wish you can copy the Parish Clerk in on any reports you make to the Dog Warden so that the Parish Council are aware.

Any incidents of injury to a person or dog by a dog should be reported to the Police on the non-emergency 101 phone number.
